Every now and then we see something truly special.
Enigma is a small UK company building custom made, mostly titanium bike frames. Check their website - you're talking thousands of British pounds just for an empty frame.
This is an Effusion from the early-med 2010s... unusual in that they've made the seat stays from carbon to improve responsiveness. It works - this thing feels super fast.
Here are the specs:
- Full Shimano Dura-Ace 10 speed groupset (50/34, 11-30)
- SRAM S60 wheels (carbon fairing profile but reassuring alloy braking surfaces)
- Ritchey carbon seatpost
- Ritchey carbon wrap stem
- Ritchey carbon handlebars
- super light carbon saddle (which might not be to everyone's taste!)
- pedals to be fitted according to your preference (Shimano clip-in or flat)
If you want something super exclusive, super fast and super classic looking, get in quick. Before I just buy it for myself.
